Climate Solutions Summit 2026

Best Poster Award

Best Poster Award for inclusive climate adaptation.

Our poster connecting climate-digital transitions, adaptation capacity and access to finance received a Best Poster Award at the Climate Solutions Summit 2026 in Abu Dhabi.

Khalifa University · Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

I received a Best Poster Award for our research presentation at the Climate Solutions Summit 2026, held at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi from 8 to 10 October. The poster brought together our work on climate-digital transitions, spatial priorities and inclusive adaptation finance.

The research asks how adaptation support can reach places facing climate pressure when digital, financial and institutional capacity is limited. It connects the geography of need with the practical conditions that allow communities to access and use support.

Its policy message is that mobilising finance and identifying exposure are only part of the task. The criteria used to direct resources, the infrastructure available and opportunities for local participation also shape who can benefit. I am grateful to my co-authors and collaborators for their contributions to this shared work.
